At Falmouth School, we strategically leverage Tassomai to empower our students in English Language and English Literature GCSEs. Evidence shows that students who consistently engage with Tassomai excel in their examinations. The platform is designed to test skills and knowledge encompassing our current curriculum and revisiting past topics. Its unique feature lies in occasionally introducing upcoming topics, providing students with a head start and instilling confidence. It is important to note that Tassomai may present questions related to texts students haven't read yet. This deliberate approach broadens their literary exposure and readies them for insightful classroom discussions.
Expectations: Setting the Standard
In Key Stage 3 (KS3), we encourage students to complete a minimum of three daily goals per week on Tassomai. Their commitment to this task is rewarded with a praise point, reinforcing a culture of consistent and effective learning. At Key Stage 4 (KS4) this increases to four daily goals per week.
