Quality Centralised Cover Supervisor (Permanent) 
 
Salary: Grade H £28,931 - £33,240 per annum (Actual salary £25,302 - £28,433)
37 hours per week, 39 working weeks (term time plus 1 additional week)
Start date: As soon as possible
 

We are seeking a Quality Centralised Cover Supervisor at Falmouth School.  This role involves the delivery of cover lessons to a number of classes in a communal space, such as the library, lecture theatre etc. 

The post holder will be crucial in maintaining the continuity of education during the absence of regular member(s) of teaching staff. You will ensure that students are settled and working in a calm and purposeful learning environment in line with the Trust’s vision and will coordinate and quality assure the delivery of cover. 

The successful candidate must be able to resolve day-to-day problems independently and demonstrate and develop professional practice excellence to meet the changing demands of the role.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid break each day.

Exam Invigilator (Casual Hours)

We are looking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join Falmouth School.  The successful candidates will undertake work on a casual hours basis, be reliable, flexible and readily available during main exam periods.

You will need to:

  • Have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills.

  • Work well as part of a team.

  • Be confident and maintain a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms.

  • Be able to give instructions and manage situations involving different groups of people.

  • Have basic IT skills (familiar with use of email, etc.).


Training will be provided and you will be joining a flexible, friendly and supportive team of exam invigilators.
