What is Falmouth School Families?
The group started meeting in November 2025, and is led by parents and carers at Falmouth School. Our aims are:
1. To support Falmouth School activities, in ways which create great experiences for students.
2. To support opportunities for Falmouth School, families of Falmouth School students, and the wider Falmouth community, to work together.
3. To help Falmouth School parents and carers learn about issues relevant to navigating the teenage years of their children.
You can read about the Aims, Members, Activities and Structure of the group in this 1-pager:
Is it the PTA?
Falmouth School Families (FSF) is not a formal PTA, although some of our activities are similar. FSF is focussed on supporting parent/carer involvement in school, through giving their time or expertise, as well as connecting parents/carers with each other.
How do I join Falmouth School Families?
If your child is at Falmouth School you are automatically a member. To receive updates and invites to all meetings, email families@falmouthschool.net and ask to be added to our mailing list and/or WhatsApp community. This really helps support the group.
Is FSF the same as the Parent Steering Group?
No, the Parent Steering Group is overseen by school and is a selected group of parents who meet with the Head teacher approximately once per term. If you are interested in joining the Steering Group, email kbetterley@falmouthschool.net for more information.
